History
The forest and country roads take us to medieval fortresses and ancient ruins, very different from the western castles. They seem almost real, expecting any moment to see knights in armor, peasants and ladies in medieval dresses.

You probably don’t know this, but Romania has a huge number of balneary resources used since the Roman Empire. From this point of view Romania is one of the first countries in the world.

Romania is known for having numerous and very beautiful orthodox monasteries and churches, many of them being on the UNESCO World Heritage List. They attest the great Romanian history.

Cultural
Romania has an important cultural heritage, with great buildings and some personalities of universal importance (Constantin Brancusi, George Enescu, Eugen Ionesco, Mircea Eliade and many others), located at the interference of western and eastern European civilizations.
