Day one
We leave Timisoara, our starting point, on a beautiful road winding through deciduous forests, ascending towards the evergreen forests and then descending again, crossing through the bed of a river and finally getting to an incredibly peaceful place where we spend the night.

Day two
The country road leads us over some small hills located at the base of the great Carpathian Mountains. We than switch to a paved road that follows the course of a small river and carries us along a beautiful valley. At the end of our day we get to a beautiful lake, close to an important Romanian holiday resort, where we spend the night.

Day three
On this day we drive on roads situated in the alpine area, in what may be the most representative day of our off-road tour. This is the day you’ll discover the greatest secret of the Carpathians: the Romanian traditional shepherding.

Day four We have another very interesting day ahead of us, as we’ll drive on paved roads, roads that were once of strategic importance to Romania. The road takes us at a maximum altitude of 2200 m. We end the day in a rather new and coquettish Romanian mountain resort.

Day five
It'll be a day of culture and religion because we’ll uncover for you two of Romania’s most beautiful monasteries. The materials used in it and the style it was built in make one of the monasteries unique, both in Romania and the world. You’ll also be introduced to a few well kept ancient Romanian handicrafts.

Day six
Even though we won’t drive much off-road, on the sixth day we’ll cross the highest mountains in Romania, with numerous attractions around us (breathtaking landscapes, monasteries, high altitude glacier lakes), which will more than compensate for having to drive on asphalt.

Day seven
Having driven quite a lot at high altitudes on the last few days, we’ll descend on the 7th day to an area filled with Romanian traditions, ancient and extremely well preserved. And of course we get back to driving off road.

Day eight
We head to a region of great interest to off-road lovers, where we get the chance to choose from a great variety of unconventional roads. We spend the night near a beautiful lake, where in the summer time you can go for a swim.

Day nine
We still find our self in the same region, and for the rest of the day we’ll drive around on different country roads, meadows and orchards. We can even go for a small night drive.

Day ten
This is our last day, the day we go back to Timisoara. But we’ll make this a memorable day even though there are no more mountains or hills in sight. We drive on a country road through some marvelous Romanian villages. At the end of the day we’ll have a good-bye dinner where we give you diplomas to remind you of our tour.
