About Us
Welcome to ROMaventura, a family who loves and respects nature and everything related to it. The love of nature and the desire to get closer to it are always reasons good enough to get into a 4x4 vehicle and drive straight to nature’s heart. We’re convinced that just like us, whenever you get the chance you go for a journey in your 4x4.
We are offering you adventure and the chance to visit Romania, driving on some fairytale routes, using only forest and country roads, most of them inaccessible with any other kind of vehicle. We’ll introduce you to our local traditions, many close to disappearing, our monasteries, local cuisine and drinks. You’ll be accompanied by experienced mountain guides, who can provide you with information about regions you’ll travel to and their history.
We particularly care about the nature, which means all our raids will be 100% ecologic, so that we can still enjoy in the future the beauty and originality of these lands.
About România
Our country is located in the center of Europe, at equal distance from the northern, western and eastern limits of the continent, but much closer to the southern limit. So, what is the significance of Romania’s location? The most important effect of the country’s location is the mild climate that allows traveling off-road at least 8-9 months each year. You and your 4x4 will have a marvelous time roving through Romania’s varied relief – plains, hills, plateaus and the main attraction, the Carpathian Mountains.
We, Romanians, are known for being extremely hospitable, and unlike most of Europe we have kept alive most of our ancient traditions and customs. In Romania you’ll find a unique combination of local traditions with modern Western European influences, eastern Slavic influences and even Oriental influences.
Benefiting from an impressing number of country and forest roads and mountain paths, mostly unknown to tourists, Romania offers the ideal location for off-road traveling.
